“I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, if you’re grateful, you’ll see God open up new doors.”

– Joel Osteen

Having a life full of things and situations that go absolutely wrong is not foreign to anyone; however, it is the way you react to those things that will determine the outcome. Philippians 4:8 NLT “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”We often have thoughts that make us depressed, sad, feeling worthless and many other things that would all be considered negative. What would happen if every time you had one of those thoughts you replaced it with something positive that God says about you? Remind yourself every day of things that are honorable, true, just, pure lovely, etc. The more you replace the negative thoughts with positive thoughts you will start to find peace in every situation, even the things that go wrong.

At some point in your life you will realize that God will provide all things, everything you need he will make sure that you are equipped with. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT states “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you future and a hope.” Having a positive attitude can change health statuses, eating patterns, stress levels and will bring a sense of peace to all things in your life. For an example, how many times in a day do you think about the bills you have sitting piling up and the money you don’t have? Now think about how many times you have brought yourself to say “God I know you can provide” and then actually allowed God to work in his own timing. Many of our issues come from us worrying about the usual stressors of life but not correcting it or speaking life into those situations.
